Where it stands
Globex Surge is under active development. It is running in private forward testing on our own accounts, and it isn’t available to install yet — we would rather it earn its release on live fills than on a backtest.
The rules and settings stay with us while the strategy is still changing; release details, including how to get it, will be posted on this page when forward testing wraps up.
What changed in v1.2.0
Monday. The Monday session opens short, and a short at the reopen is often right about the direction and early on the timing. In v1.1.0 an early stop ended the session. v1.2.0 gives the idea a second, disciplined chance after a stop, and it is far more selective about when it turns and trades the other way. Every change was tested on every Monday since January 2024, on Micro Nasdaq futures and the US100 CFD, and had to beat what it replaced in each of three separate stretches of that history, not just on the whole.
The same Monday MNQ chart, one contract, over the same TradingView year:
| Monday · MNQ, 1 contract | trades | net | profit factor | max drawdown |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| v1.1.0 (live until 27 Sep) | 70 | +$5,388 | 2.49 | $475 |
| v1.2.0 | 100 | +$9,354 | 2.99 | $532 |
v1.1.0’s figures are its live chart at two contracts, with net and drawdown halved. v1.2.0 trades more often because a stopped Monday can now be worked a second time; every month of the year finished positive.
Sunday runs the v1.2.0 defaults; v1.2.0 does not change the Sunday session.
What is measured below
Each tab is a chart exactly as it runs live: the Monday and Sunday sessions, on Micro Nasdaq futures (MNQ) and on the US100 CFD. Every figure is TradingView’s own trade list off that chart — the platform’s broker emulator, not a simulation of ours — over the last 365 days to 22 September 2026, with the stretch since 14 June broken out on its own.
US100 is now measured on OPO Finance’s Nasdaq-100 CFD feed
(OPOFINANCE:NDQUSD), the TradingView feed whose prices sit closest to the
broker we trade through, at two units — the same exposure as one MNQ
contract. The headline on the strategies page is the Monday MNQ chart at one
contract.
